I have been focused on personal fitness my entire life. My interest in learning more about the body, how it works and is meant to move, came from my love of being active. I have run numerous triathlons including a half ironman, completed six marathons, multiple ultra marathons, ran the Grand Canyon Rim-2-Rim-2-Rim, was a Boston Marathon qualifier, and have competed in many adventure races. In my free time I enjoy riding my road bike and running the hills in my neighborhood. I get a lot of joy from the peace & serenity of cross-country skiing, but I love the thrill of a good downhill ski run! I am a former employee of the National Ski Patrol and worked for Club Med as a ski instructor for the French Ski School. Outside of fitness, I have taken up gardening (sometimes referring to our plants by their Latin name) and my new meditative hobby is building handcrafted coffee tables and end tables with locally sourced, reclaimed wood.

I have a degree in physical education/exercise science and I have been a professional personal fitness trainer for 30 years working with people of all ages and body types. I have long-term clients that I have been helping remain fit for 15+ years, as well as newer clients who are just starting out or working toward specific goals.
